Spinach Banana Oat Waffles for Baby (No Added Sugar!)
A naturally sweetened, protein-packed waffle made with oats, spinach, banana, cottage cheese, and hemp seeds — no added sugar, one blender, and freezer-friendly for easy toddler breakfasts.
Add the oats to a blender and blend until you reach a powdery, flour-like texture.
Add the remaining ingredients (spinach, bananas, cottage cheese, egg, flax meal, hemp seeds, milk, and salt) and blend until smooth. Add more milk as needed until the batter reaches a pancake-batter consistency.
Cook the batter in a waffle maker. Enjoy right away, or cool completely and store in freezer-safe storage bags.
Notes
No added sugar — the riper the bananas, the sweeter the waffles.
A great way to use up overripe bananas.
Reheats straight from frozen in the toaster or air fryer — no thawing needed.
Swap cottage cheese for plain Greek yogurt if needed (may need slightly less milk).
Batter also works as pancakes on a griddle if you don't have a waffle maker.
