Instructions
Heat a large skillet or wok over medium low heat. Add oil, then saute garlic for just a minute until it starts to turn golden.
Add Shanghai bok choy to the pan, with the sliced side facing down. Let the bok choy sear for a minute, then flip. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and water and cover with lid.
Reduce heat to low and allow to cook for 3 minutes.
Serve with cooked rice.
