Ingredients
  

  • 4 Persian cucumbers thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • Toasted sesame seeds to garnish

Instructions
 

  • Add sliced cucumbers and salt to a medium bowl and mix well until evenly coated. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  • Discard the liquid that pools at the bottom of the bowl.
  • Add garlic powder, soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, and toasted sesame oil. Mix gently until cucumbers are coated.
  • Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and serve immediately, or chill for 10–15 minutes for a stronger flavor.
