Prosciutto and Mozzarella Crostini

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz fresh mozzarella sliced into ½-inch pieces
  • 12 oz prosciutto slices
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Balsamic glaze
  • Extra virgin olive oil for drizzling

Instructions
 

  • Top each crostini with a slice of mozzarella.
  • Add basil leaves and prosciutto.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze and a little olive oil.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

1. Aside from baking the crostini, no additional cooking is required.
2. Crostini can be toasted up to 1 day ahead and stored in an airtight container.
3. Assemble toppings just before serving for best texture.
