Korean Soy Braised Chicken (Jjimdak)
This Korean soy braised chicken (jjimdak) is a cozy one-pot dish made with tender chicken, veggies, chewy noodles, and a bold soy-based sauce.

- 2 lbs chicken drumsticks and/or thighs
- 1 cup potatoes peeled and chopped
- 1 cup carrots chopped
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 2 green onions chopped
- 4 oz sweet potato noodles (Korean glass noodles)* optional
- 4 oz rice cakes* optional

ADD INGREDIENTS TO THE POT
Add chicken and sauce to the pot. Bring everything to a boil and reduce the heat to medium cook with the lid covered for 8 minutes.
Add potatoes, carrots, and onions cover and cook for an additional 8 minutes.
Add the sweet potato noodles and chopped green onions, and cook for 3 minutes.
Lastly, add the rice cakes and cook for four minutes.
