1tspsesame seeds
1tbspsoy sauce
1/2tbsp oyster sauce
1tsphoney or sweetner of choice
1tsprice wine vinegar
1tbsptoasted sesame oil
Instructions
Remove the plastic from the silken tofu container and carefully run a knife along the sides of the tofu. Flip the container over a large dish or bowl to remove the tofu.
Heat a saucepan under medium low heat for about 4-5 minutes until the pan is hot.
Meanwhile, add the white part of the green onion into a small heatproof bowl. Grate in the garlic clove and add in Korean red pepper flakes and sesame seeds. Add sesame oil into the heated pan for just 20 seconds until the oil comes to temperature. Then carefully pour the heated sesame oil into the bowl.
Next add the remaining ingredients for the tofu sauce (soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, rice wine vinegar) into the bowl and mix.
You may see some water has drained from your silken tofu onto the dish. Carefully discard and pour out the water.
Drizzle the sauce over the tofu. Garnish with the green parts of the green onion and additional sesame seeds.
Serve with rice and additional Korean side dishes.
