Homemade Gummies (with Pomegranate Juice)

Crafted with natural goodness, these delightful treats are not only delicious but a great alternative to store-bought candies. Packed with the antioxidant-rich power of pomegranate juice as well as collagen from beef gelatin, they're a fun and easy way to enjoy gummies at home.

Equipment

  • Gelatin gummy molds *optional
  • 1 liquid dropper *optional

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup pomegranate juice or any juice of choice
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice about half a lemon
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp unflavored beef gelatin

Instructions
 

  • Add 1/2 cup of pomegranate juice to a bowl and add the gelatin. Whisk and let bloom for about 10 minutes.
  • Heat the remaining 1/2 cup of juice in a small pot over low heat until the liquid is heated but not boiling.
  • Take the pot off the stovetop and add the bloomed gelatin mixture. Whisk until fully incorporated. Add lemon juice and honey and mix.
  • Add the mixture to gummy molds. Alternatively, you can use a square baking pan to cut up the gelatin once it has solidified.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours then release the gummies from the molds to consume. Store gummies in the refrigerator.
