This 15-minute dumpling bowl uses frozen dumplings from Costco for a quick, flavorful, and budget-friendly meal. Tossed in a savory sauce and customizable with protein or veggies, it’s perfect for busy weeknights.

  • Colander or slotted spoon
  • Large spoon or silicon spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 32 frozen dumplings or potstickers about 8 per person
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp black vinegar
  • 8 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 green onion stalks thinly sliced
  • 4 tsp chili oil

FOR GARNISH

  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green onion stalks thinly sliced (only the green part)

Instructions
 

  • Boil frozen dumplings according to package instructions
  • Drain and transfer to individual serving bowls

ADD THE SAUCE

  • To each bowl, drizzle 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1/2 tbsp black vinegar, 2 tsp sesame oil, 1/2 stalk of sliced green onion, and 2 tsp chili oil* (optional).
  • Use a spoon or silicon spatula to gently toss the mixture so the dumplings are evenly coated with the sauce.
  • Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and additional green onion (only the green part).
