I’m Olivia — a working mom, flavor chaser, and believer that mealtime should feel like a bright spot in your day.
By the time I get dinner on the table, I’ve already juggled a full day of work, parenting three kids (including a newborn!), and everything in between — and I know I’m not alone. That’s why I started this blog: to help other busy people feed their families without stress or fuss, making it not only do-able but enjoyable too!
Food has always been a big part of my life. I’ve loved cooking and sharing meals for as long as I can remember. But it wasn’t until I became a mom that dinner started to feel like a burden. I found myself racing (and often struggling) to get something healthy, satisfying, and affordable on the table night after night.
Over the years, I learned you can still build depth and complexity of flavor without spending hours in the kitchen. With the help of good ingredients, the right condiments/sauces, and a little technique, you can have a wholesome and delicious meal ready to eat in minutes.
My recipes are quick, foolproof, and designed with real life in mind. I offer tons of customizations and substitutions that you can apply to fit you and your family’s needs. All my dishes are full of bold flavor (and loads of garlic), often inspired by my Korean heritage, and rooted in a deep love of comforting, nourishing food.
While my kids aren’t into spicy dishes (yet!), I love exploring ways to adapt classic recipes so everyone at the table is happy — whether that’s splitting a sheet pan into spicy and non-spicy zones, or creating kid-friendly variations.
Outside the kitchen, I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University and have spent my career supporting families — first in the child welfare space, and now in healthcare. I’ve experienced the demands of corporate life firsthand, and I know how hard it is to find the time and energy to cook, let alone enjoy it.
This space exists to offer approachable recipes that make your life easier, meals that feel special even when the day hasn’t been, and a sense of connection through food — whether you’re cooking for yourself, your family, or your community.
