I’m here to keep your meal times fun, fresh, and full of flavor =)
My recipes are developed with the hectic schedules of modern life in mind. Whether you’re feeding a crowd or just cooking for one, my goal is to help elevate your weeknight meal experience and make it a positive part of your day.
A little about me:
I love to eat. Food is my love language and nothing brings me more joy than seeing full and happy bellies seated around my kitchen table.
Growing up in New Jersey surrounded by Italian American friends and their families, I was introduced early on to the flavors and traditions of Italian cooking. As such, you will find copious amounts of pasta, olive oil, and Nutella in my pantry at all times.
Many of my recipes also reflect the flavors of my Korean heritage. I love to incorporate a mix of sweet + salty + spicy into my dishes and am always heavy handed with the garlic.
As a mom of two growing children, I shop mainly at Costco for my groceries and will often feature products and finds from the ubiquitous bulk store. Most of the ingredients for my recipes can be found at your local chain grocery store or Asian market, or even Amazon!
I try to provide substitutions whenever I can as I understand accessibility may be an issue for some. Please don’t hesitate to leave a comment if you have specific questions regarding recipe ingredients and I will try my darnedest to respond!
Thanks so much for being here. If you’d like to connect or provide any helpful feedback, please reach out to me via email ([email protected]) or through any of my social channels @costcokitchen (IG + TikTok) @oliviayi (YouTube).
