Chocolate Chia Pudding

This Chocolate Chia Pudding is a rich, creamy, and healthy make-ahead breakfast or snack! Made with cacao powder, almond milk, and naturally sweetened with maple syrup, it’s packed with fiber, protein, and omega-3s. Ready in just minutes, this vegan and dairy-free treat is perfect for meal prep.

Ingredients

1/2 cup chia seeds

1 3/4 cup milk (Use any milk of choice)

3 tbsp maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)

1 1/2 tbsp cacao powder (Use Dutch-processed if you can find it)

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 pinch of salt

Vanilla yogurt and fresh berries for topping* (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a medium bowl or measuring cup and whisk well until everything is mixed. Allow to sit for about 20 minutes then whisk again to ensure there are no clumps.

  2. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight

  3. Top with yogurt (*optional) and fresh berries of choice
